Say Hello to Shutterstock Editor – A Free, Fast & Intuitive Online Photo Editor

Shutterstock have just introduced Shutterstock Editor, which is now in beta. It’s a simple, fast and free way to edit photos online directly in your browser.

How does it work? Browse their huge collection of stunning stock photos and find just the perfect one for your project via their innovative search. Then you’ll be able to customize it even before the actual download in no time. Finally, enjoy the edited image in your artwork.

Please note that the editor is currently available for desktop users and devices only.


As of April 2016, it is now possible to personalize a photo by adding text which can be customized in terms of colour, font and shadow. Furthermore you can add your own logo to the template and change its text. Then you can post it on social media, use it in a presentation or even download to use in a brochure.

Also, Shutterstock Editor speaks your language. You can use fonts localised for many languages including Portuguese, German, Russian or Chinese. Furthermore you can use the universal language of emojis.
