The Uxcel team has studied hundreds of sources over the last few years and learned a lot from thousands of community skill tests such as the UX Writing skill test for example. So you can be sure that they take UX skills assessment very seriously.

Subsequently, they have worked closely with industry experts and developed a unique system to accurately assess UX design skills for different roles and levels.

As you might imagine, earning the Uxcel certification requires proof of knowledge and understanding by passing the certification test. You can take the professional UX certification test whether or not you have taken Uxcel courses or any other courses.

Initially, a Level 1 certification for $150 per attempt will be offered on the Uxcel platform for each designer role. However, they are already working on Level 2 and Level 3 (Masters) which will then be released in early 2023.

Although the UX certification is still in development, you can sign up for early access and join the waitlist to get a discount on the regular prices at launch.

UPDATE: From May 2024, certifications are included in the price of an Uxcel Pro membership. Pro members can apply for as many certifications as they wish.
