The new Product Search for WooCommerce plugin provides fast live search, even for large catalogs with up to 50,000 products. It uses a dedicated search index and optional caching to deliver results without relying on slow database queries.

The plugin can search much more than product names. Store owners can include SKUs, descriptions, attributes, GTINs, ISBNs, categories, brands, and custom fields such as ACF metadata. Variable products are supported too, with the option to display one parent product or individual variations.

The intelligent search engine includes fuzzy matching, synonyms, relevance ranking and language-aware search. This means that even if shoppers make typos, use alternative terms or search for different word forms, they can still find suitable products.

The search interface is also highly configurable.
