WP Engine with Transferable Installs & Billing Transfers
Earlier this year, the WP Engine team had some really exciting news for both designers and developers! They have introduced transferable installs and billing transfers which allow you to reduce your administrative tasks.
Transferable Installs
This new feature allows you to create an unlimited number of development sites in your WP Engine account – at no additional cost. Thus you can develop and test multiple sites at the same time in a reliable and secure environment. Also you’ll avoid platform compatibility issues and save time as you do not need to migrate from your staging to a live environment.
All WP Engine plans come with transferable installs.
Billing Transfers
Once a site is ready to go live, you can simply transfer the site, WP Admin dashboard, and bill to your client. After the transfer, however, you can still work on the project as you’ll still have access as a contributor.
Instead of you, WP Engine is going to invoice your client for the hosting services.
