New Features

Hereโ€™s what you can expect in this brand-new version:

  • Removing The “Safe Mode for jQuery” Option
To make WP Rocket even simpler to configure, they improved the handling of scripts relying on jQuery and therefore were able to remove the “Safe Mode for jQuery” option. This can improve the Time to Interactive metric, one of the six metrics tracked in the Lighthouse report. Users will now get a website faster and a better score on PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix.
  • Missing Width & Height Image Attributes
WP Rocket now adds any missing width and height image attributes. This will help to improve the Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) metric, one of the Core Web Vitals that will roll out as a ranking factor in May 2021.
  • Excluding Images From LazyLoad
You can easily exclude specific images and iframes from LazyLoad directly via the plugin interface.

Finally, they improved the overall user experience by removing some options from the user interface such as The Cache Lifespan “Minutes” Frequency and the Beta Tester option.

Pricing, Support & Updates

WP Rocket pricing starts from as low as $49 for a single site. They are charging $99 for up to 3 sites and $249 for unlimited sites. All plans come with one year of free support and updates.

Please note that they are providing a 14 days money-back guarantee. Thus, you can test their feature-rich WordPress caching plugin risk-free. What are you waiting for?
