WP Umbrella Launches Site Protect Powered by Patchstack
Just before leaving for WordCamp Europe 2025, Aurelio from WP Umbrella has just announced the launch of the new Site Protect add-on for the WordPress management and maintenance platform.
New Site Protect Add-On

Site Protect is a powerful new add-on powered by Patchstack that provides advanced security for your WordPress sites without slowing them down or requiring configuration. Site Protect automatically protects your WordPress sites against common threats and includes:
- Virtual patching for plugin and theme vulnerabilities before an official update is available.
- Security hardening is key to stopping attacks like:
- XML-RPC brute force
- User enumeration
- Version exposure
- Access to sensitive files (like debug.log)
- Clickjacking & XSS via headers
- File editor abuse in wp-admin
You can activate Site Protect for each of your sites directly from your WP Umbrella dashboard. Launch offer: It costs $2 per site per month until 30 June, after which it will cost $3 per site per month. Ditch your security plugin and get next-level protection!
Please note that if you use the Site Protect add-on via WP Umbrella, you will not receive a standalone Patchstack account or access to their dashboard. Everything is managed directly within WP Umbrella.
