YITH just announced a major update to one of their most popular plugins. Booking & Appointment for WooCommerce is now available in version 3.0.
Booking & Appointment 3.0
YITH Booking & Appointment for WooCommerce allows you to manage bookings for rooms, set check-in and check-out times, the number of guests that can book, add service charges, and more. No matter your use case, the plugin has got you covered. Easily set up daily or hourly bookings for your beauty salon or yoga class or rent out cars, sports equipment, and scooters for example.
Let’s dive into the new features of version 3.0:
The plugin now integrates with YITH’s free Proteo WooCommerce theme. The theme comes in three new styles: Proteo Booking Apartment, Proteo Booking Hotel, and Proteo Booking Travel.
New Search Forms
YITH have improved the booking search forms to allow users to search for a place to stay, an appointment or rentable product based on availability, services, location, and more. They have improved the functionality, style and added a new, beautiful horizontal layout.
New Email Notifications Style
The plugin allows automatic notifications to be sent to both the administrator and the client to keep them updated on their booked service. They have improved the style of the email notifications and given it a more professional look.
More Customization Options
They have also added advanced options to further customise the shop. For example, you can now redirect customers to the checkout page when they click the “Book” button or choose whether to add services and extras to a product price.
Finally, you can integrate Google Calendar to view and synchronize all your bookings and appointments. The plugin now also integrates with YITH Multi Currency Switcher for WooCommerce to automatically convert prices of bookable products and services in other currencies.
