Better Stack Rolls Out Anomaly Detection for Logs & Metrics

The Better Stack team has just launched a new anomaly detection feature for logs and metrics for its reliable incident management and log management platform. They have also released a new system status badge and a new schedule override feature.

New Anomaly Detection

With Better Stack, you can now be alerted to irregularities in your logs and metrics before they become incidents. Instead of setting specific thresholds that can change in real production environments, you can be alerted to any significant deviation from the trend. Anomaly detection covers all those situations you don’t even know can happen.

The best thing about this new feature? You can manage all your alert flows with Uptime and configure escalation policies that trigger your log and metric alerts. So you can receive a Slack message, email or other notification depending on the severity of the alert.

New System Status Badge

Want to link to your status page from your website and make it look great? Now you can use the new Better Stack Uptime iFrame embed that links to your status page and dynamically displays the overall status wherever you place it. It comes in both light and dark versions.

New: Schedule Override

Has one of your on-call staff fallen ill? Or do you just need to reschedule for a one-off event? With Better Stack, you can now override the existing on-call schedule and assign a new person for a specific period of time. There is no need to adjust the regular on-call schedule.
