BuddyBoss Releases Live Messaging In Beta

The BuddyBoss team has just released the long-awaited live messaging feature for the BuddyBoss Platform Pro, which is currently in beta and powered by Pusher.

Live Messaging

As the name suggests, Live Messaging allows your community members to send and receive private messages in real time via their devices.

It comes with the following features:

• Live Online Status
  See who’s currently online in real time, without having to refresh your browser.
• Live Messaging
  Show new messages in real time. Again, without refreshing the browser.
• Typing Indicator
  Display a typing indicator when another member is currently typing a message to you.
• Messaging Interface
  Updated interface with improved editor experience and faster loading.

Note that you need to sign up for a free Pusher account to use this feature.
