BuddyBoss Introduces Member Blogging, Bookmarking & Blog Subscriptions
Graham from BuddyBoss has just announced the release of a new feature called ‘Member Blogging’. It allows members of your community to write and publish posts from the front end of your site, while giving you full control over who can publish and what actually goes live.
New Features
Let’s take a look at what’s new in BuddyBoss:
- Member Blogging (BuddyBoss Plus): Members can write and publish content using a front-end editor. You control the approval rules and publishing permissions. They never access the WordPress dashboard.
- Bookmarking & Blog Subscriptions (BuddyBoss Pro & Plus): Readers can save posts to read later and follow categories to receive notifications when new content is published. Bookmarks sync with the BuddyBoss app.
- ReadyLaunch Blog Templates (included in BuddyBoss Platform): Your blog archive and single post pages now come with the correct ReadyLaunch styling, rather than using the styling of the active theme.
Everything your members write is indexable, enabling your community to attract new members rather than just serving existing ones. Because publishing permissions can be tied to a BuddyBoss membership plan, the right to post can be packaged and sold to sponsors, partners or a premium tier.
