Automatic Form Tracking

When setting up Conversion Bridge, you are now guided through the process of what to turn on, rather than being left to hunt through the settings yourself. Previously, you had to open each form individually and enable form tracking.

Now, simply enable your form plugin and Conversion Bridge will start tracking submissions right away and send enhanced conversions automatically by finding the email and name fields for you without you ever having to open a form.

However, you can still map fields yourself if you prefer, and your choices will override the automatic setup. The setup process, which used to be a list of steps, is now essentially a checkbox.

What’s More?

Now, let’s take a quick look at the new features in Conversion Bridge 1.15:

  • OpenAI Ads: Conversion Bridge now supports OpenAI Ads, a brand new ad platform. Add the OpenAI pixel and, optionally, the Conversions API to measure ad conversions in ChatGPT.
  • Pinterest Conversions API: Send Pinterest conversions server-side and deduplicate them against the browser tag to prevent ad blockers from hiding them.
  • FluentBooking: The new FluentBooking integration now tracks both free bookings (as leads) and paid bookings (as revenue).
  • Support for More Consent Banners: The following cookie banners are now supported: Conversion Bridge, SEOPress, Iubenda, SureCookie and Borlabs Cookie. The WP Consent API is also now selectable, meaning any banner that follows the standard will work too.
  • Cross-Domain Tracking: You can carry a visitor’s UTM parameters and ad click IDs across to your other domains, such as a separate checkout or booking site, to ensure that the campaign that brought them in isn’t lost. There is also a new GA4 option that allows you to maintain a single session across your own domains.

In other news, Conversion Bridge allows you to choose whether a conversion is credited to the campaign that the visitor first arrived with (first-touch attribution) or the campaign that the visitor most recently arrived with (last-touch attribution). This comes in handy when a returning visitor clicks on a new ad.
