Conversion Bridge: New GA Dashboard & Linked Journeys

Derek from Conversion Bridge has just released version 1.16 of his WordPress analytics and conversion tracking plugin. This update introduces a new Google Analytics dashboard and linked conversion journeys, as well as new integrations.

New GA Dashboard

The headline feature is the brand new Google Analytics dashboard that has been integrated into your WordPress admin area. While GA4 is a powerful tool, the interface is difficult for most people to use. Thankfully, this dashboard restores the ease of use. It starts with the standard metrics such as sessions, users, and pageviews. There is also a table showing every conversion event, along with its count, conversion rate, revenue, and change against the previous period.

his new feature allows you to filter the rest of the dashboard by conversion event. Select ‘Purchases’ and the sources, pages, locations and devices will be filtered to show only those who made a purchase. This provides an answer to the question ‘Where do my customers come from?’ with just one click, eliminating the need to open Google Analytics.

You can compare every number with the previous period, month, quarter or year, and hide any unused cards.

Linked Journeys & More

In other news, conversion journeys can now be linked to user accounts. Enabling this feature adds a ‘Journeys’ column to the ‘Users’ screen, enabling you to view the products that customers looked at before making a purchase by opening their profile. The feature is disabled by default. The plugin also adds suggested wording to the WordPress Privacy Policy Guide and handles WordPress data export and erasure requests.

Finally, Conversion Bridge now includes a new Overview report and supports two new ad platforms, including Snapchat Ads and Awin. Growify has joined as an analytics platform. Two more consent banners are supported with Concord and ConsentManager.
