After an initial beta phase, EmailOctopus just announced that the advanced contact search is now available to all customers of their email marketing solution.
Advanced Contact Search
If you have found their contact search to be somewhat limiting in the past, you were absolutely right. The EmailOctopus team has been working hard to bring you an improved search that enables you to find contacts with partial emails, by subscription status, and more.
Searching for exact matches is a thing of the past as partial matches for email addresses are now displayed in your search results.
The new advanced search feature allows you to search by:
- Status – subscribed, unsubscribed or pending contacts
- Date Added – find contacts added on, before or after a specific date
- Last Changed – when a contact’s details were last updated
- List Field – search by first name, last name, or any of your additional list fields
You can now also find contact via their birth dates or locations when you asked for these details when subscribing to your mailing list. In addition, you can now also combine and exclude search terms to find specific groups of contacts in a truly granular way. For example, if you type
email:gmail added:>2019-03-10 in the search bar, you can easily find all contacts whose Gmail account was added after March 10, 2019.
PS: EmailOctopus now integrates just fine with Gravity Forms, one of the best WordPress form plugins.
