EWWW IO Adds Image Watermarks, CDN Stats & Subaccounts

Due to popular demand, EWWW IO has just introduced image watermarks and improved CDN stats, as well as sub-keys and sub-accounts to its image optimisation tool for WordPress.

Image Watermarking

A frequently requested feature is watermarking to protect your images from pirates or to enhance your branding. Now it’s finally here!

Easy IO helps you replace your watermark image easily and quickly. The new watermark is automatically applied to all new images, and to existing images when they “fall out” of the CDN cache.

You can also clear the CDN cache so that the new watermark is applied immediately!

Better CDN Stats

The EWWW IO team has also improved the Easy IO statistics. You can now view statistics on the number of requests, origin response time, error rates, and more on your Manage Sites page.

For all charts with multiple metrics, you can also toggle which metrics are visible by clicking on the labels above the chart. This is particularly handy for isolating 3xx, 4xx and 5xx in the error statistics chart.

In addition, you can now sort the Bandwidth and Site URL columns to help you find the data you want more quickly.

Subkeys & Subaccounts

Finally, some good news for agencies and freelancers working for clients: Subkeys can now be used not only for the Compress API, but also for activating and registering Easy IO websites and for activating the SWIS Performance plugin on client sites.

All subkeys can be linked to a client’s or team member’s email address so that they have their own key/login and can manage their sites and their usage. In addition, they can also download the SWIS Performance plugin.

You can even assign a ‘manager’ role to a user, giving them their own account to log in and manage both keys and websites. However, they will not have access to any billing data.
