Kinsta Announces Application & Database Hosting

Kinsta has just announced the next generation of hosting services. This includes application and database hosting as an invite-only beta.

Application & Database Hosting

Our plan is to create a platform where developers can find everything they need to run a web service with ease, so they can focus on creating and sharing their best work with the world.

– Mark Gavalda, CEO at Kinsta

Until now, Kinsta has limited the scope of its hosting offering to managed WordPress hosting. In order to offer powerful tools for developers, they have spent the last year working on more flexible hosting services. This allows all web projects to be hosted in one place.

  • Application Hosting
Run your application built with the most popular programming languages and frameworks. You can also connect with GitHub and automate deployments from source code to the Kinsta infrastructure. They support PHP, Node.js, Python, Java, Go, Ruby, and more.
  • Database Hosting
Easily create a database and set up internal connections with your application for optimal performance and security. They support MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and Redis.

Interested developers participating in the beta will receive temporary free access to their application and database hosting.

By the way, WordPress is not going anywhere. Kinsta is committed to further improving its managed WordPress hosting with new features.
