Here is a rundown of the latest updates in FluentCommunity 2.6.0:

  • Course Welcome Banners: Every course can now have its own welcome banner, offering two separate views. The ‘Not Enrolled’ view transforms your course into a proper landing page with a bold image or intro video, headline, description and CTA buttons for enrolment or a free preview. The ‘Enrolled’ view is for a personal welcome video or ‘Start Here’ message for when someone joins. Both can be set up from a dedicated tab in Course Edit; no page builder or theme files are needed.
  • Duplicate Lessons & Quizzes in One Click: Due to popular demand, you can now copy any lesson or quiz in its entirety, including settings and, for quizzes, every question and answer, and only tweak what’s different. Build from a successful lesson instead of starting from scratch.
  • Improved Quiz Editor: The question modal is cleaner, reordering is easier, the inputs are brand-coloured, and it is now fully keyboard-accessible.
  • Require Approval for First Comment: Spam usually appears in the first comment. This new moderation option holds a community member’s first comment for review, after which they can comment freely. It works just like first-post approval.
  • A More Vibrant Feed: New posts and comments glow when published, embedded videos instantly display thumbnails, image galleries show page indicators and reply threads remain open while you continue replying.

In other news, FluentCommunity has introduced theme-aware status colours on course cards and added German (de_DE) translation files to the Pro version.
