New Features

Lesson Lock
Lesson 2 Stays Locked Until Lesson 1 Is Done ©FluentCommunity

Read on for a quick rundown of what’s new:

  • Sequential Lesson Lock: Lesson 2 will only unlock once Lesson 1 has been completed, and so on. This is great for structured training, certification flows and any course where the order actually matters. You can enable this feature on a per-course basis.
  • Better Mobile Experience: The top header and bottom navigation bar now slide away as you scroll down, and reappear when you scroll back up, providing the same experience as a native app. There is a new ‘Scroll to Top’ button across feeds, lessons and profiles.
  • Smarter Notifications System: Great news for busy communities with lots of notifications. There’s a new ‘Unread’ tab, as well as a ‘Recent’ popover that shows you the last 20 notifications at a glance without you having to leave the page. You’ll also now be notified when someone reacts to your comment, not just your posts.
  • Post Scheduling for Space Admins: Space admins can now schedule posts to be published at a later date.
  • Courses Tab on Member Profiles: You can now see which courses a member is taking directly from their profile. It’s an easy way to spot potential study buddies or find out what people are interested in.

In other news, FluentCommunity has released a new Bulk Import Welcome Email opt-in feature. When you import members in bulk, you can now choose whether or not they receive the WordPress welcome email.
