Posts Table Pro 4 Introduces Modern Table Design & Faster Performance

Katie from Barn2 has released Posts Table Pro 4.0, introducing a more modern table design and a faster engine. It also offers a long list of new features for filtering, sorting and sharing your tables.

New Features

Let’s take a quick look at the feature highlights:

• Modernized Table Design: A cleaner, more contemporary look with all your existing customizations and settings carried over.
• Faster Performance on Large Tables: A new indexing system pre-computes your table data, making load times, searches and filtering all noticeably quicker. The bigger your table, the more you’ll notice the difference.
• Lazy Loading: Now standard, with none of the limitations affecting previous versions regarding lazy-loaded filtering, sorting or pagination.
• Multi-Column Sorting: Allows visitors to sort by more than one column at a time, which is useful when two fields are important together, such as date and category.
• Multi-Select Filters: Each filter now accepts multiple values at once, so visitors aren’t limited to one choice per filter.
• Two Filter Locations: Place filters above the table as dropdowns and/or inside each column header.
• Active Filter Display & Filter Counts: Visitors always know what’s applied and how many results each option will return.
• Infinite Scroll: Automatically loads more rows as visitors scroll.
• Shareable Table URLs: Each table now generates a unique URL capturing the active search, filters, sorting and pagination. You can bookmark a view, share a filtered list or send a team member a direct link to exactly the right data.
• Container Height Control: You can also fix the height of the table container using any CSS length unit, including calc() expressions.
