FluentCommunity Releases Pages for Spaces

Jewel from FluentCommunity has released version 2.10.0 of the WordPress community plugin, which introduces pages for your spaces.

New Features

Let’s take a look at what’s new in FluentCommunity 2.10:

• Pages for Spaces: Every space now has a ‘Pages’ tab. It is written in the normal WordPress block editor, so it can contain anything you want, such as a welcome guide, rules, a resource list, an FAQ or a course outline. You can order the pages however you want and turn comments on or off per page. Additionally, there are multiple page templates.
• LLMs: Now, your community can show up on LLMs. Until now, when ChatGPT or Claude visited your community, they were shown a blank page as the portal was rendered in the browser. Now, however, the portal serves real HTML to anything that isn’t a browser. Posts, spaces, and courses display their actual content. This means that search engines can index your threads and AI tools can cite your answers. In terms of privacy, it only ever renders what a logged-out visitor is already allowed to see. Private and secret spaces are not rendered at all.

In other news, push notifications now clear the matching badge when opened, and in-app toasts no longer appear alongside push notifications. Additionally, the Settings screens now function as proper routes, enabling the back button to work. Finally, FluentCommunity has made improvements to dark mode.
