FluentCRM Rolls Out WhatsApp Marketing

Ever since FluentCRM shipped SMS in version 3.0, they have been wondering whether they can do this on WhatsApp too. In short, the answer is yes. They are also shipping a unified inbox for both SMS and WhatsApp.

With FluentCRM 3.2.0 you can:

• Use approved templates to send WhatsApp campaigns to opted-in segments.
• Add ‘Send a WhatsApp message’ to any automation, such as reminders, order follow-ups and enrolment next steps.
• Reply to contacts one-to-one from inside FluentCRM and save the conversation on the contact record.
• Manage WhatsApp and SMS messages from one chat-style Messaging inbox.
• Send messages to one-time recipients by phone number and save reusable templates per channel.

It works with Twilio and the Meta Cloud API. By design, WhatsApp consent is kept separate from email consent.

In other news, FluentCRM has introduced a new Create Coupon action for FluentCart that generates a unique code for each contact within an automation (in the core version, not the Pro version). Other new features include theme colours and the Media & Text block in the email editor.
