New Venmo Integration

The new integration allows your donors to donate to your organization with their Venmo app directly on your WordPress site.

Check out the benefits:

  • Venmo Is Owned By PayPal
Since Venmo is a PayPal product, the Venmo web payment feature is connected to GiveWP’s PayPal donation gateway. This in turn means that if you already use PayPal donations, you only need to check one box to accept donations via Venmo.
  • Smart Buttons
After you activate Venmo, it will appear on your form in the PayPal donation area just below the PayPal button.
  • Payments Appear In Your PayPal Account
With Venmo donations, your donors can donate directly from their Venmo app. However, the payment itself is processed from your PayPal account. Therefore, transactions will not appear in your Venmo account, but in your PayPal account.
  • PayPal Fees
Where there is light, there is also shadow. Since it’s processed through PayPal, you’ll incur the same fees as your other PayPal donations. The ability to donate with Venmo without fees remains only a feature of app-to-app payments between friends and family. Businesses and organizations that use Venmo will still have to pay processing fees.

New Form Grid & Donor Wall Block Options

Facelift
Form Grid Block

Previously, the Form Grid and Donor Wall had fewer options than the shortcode. In version 2.20 that will change! The new Form Grid and Donor Wall blocks will support all shortcode options and even get some new features that GiveWP users have been asking for.

You can now also add a custom URL redirect to each donation form as well as a customizable donate button to the individual forms in your grid.

Lastly, GiveWP introduced new Donation and Donor list admin screens with an improved UI.
