Last month, Gumlet introduced updates to the viewer experience, channel branding, integrations, performance and live streaming. Here’s everything that’s new:

  • Custom End Screens: These let you choose exactly what appears at the end of your video, whether that’s more content, a CTA button, social share buttons, a custom image, a message or nothing at all. Each option can be configured per video, so a product demo could direct viewers to a sign-up CTA while a course video could recommend the next lesson.
  • Channel Customizations: Channels now support more in-depth brand customization. You can set your own colours, logo, fonts and layout, so the channel page feels like an extension of your product. This matters for teams using channels as a customer-facing content hub, learning center or public video library.
  • Chapters Revamp: Creating chapters used to mean entering start and end times for every section, which was a tedious process. Now, you only need to enter the start time. Gumlet then calculates where each chapter ends based on where the next one begins. Mark the moments, name them and you’re done.
  • Faster Format Conversion & Optimization: Video processing is now significantly faster. Whether you’re converting uploads for web delivery, re-encoding for specific devices, or optimizing your entire library, jobs are completed more quickly with the same output quality.
  • Live Stream Thumbnail Support: Live streams can now have a custom thumbnail. Simply upload an image from your dashboard and it will display on the player before the stream goes live.

In other news, Gumlet has launched three new integrations. You can now trigger LinkedIn conversion events when videos are played or completed. This feature is useful for those running LinkedIn Ads who want to use video engagement to inform their retargeting audiences and attribution. In addition, Gumlet is now listed on the GoHighLevel marketplace and video embeds work natively on platforms that use iFramely for rich media parsing, including Heartbeat.
