Let’s take a look at the new features in HeySummit:

  • Workspaces for Related Events: Annual summits, webinar series and other related events can now be brought together under one shared workspace. You can keep it private for your organization or publish a branded hub where visitors can browse events and subscribe to receive future announcements.
  • Embed Zoom Meetings & Webinars: Allow attendees to join Zoom meetings and webinars directly from a HeySummit talk page, while registration and access are handled for them behind the scenes.
  • Directly Connect ThriveCart: You can connect ThriveCart directly and map products and upsells to HeySummit tickets. This will turn purchases into the correct attendee access, eliminating the need to build the webhook setup yourself.
  • SMS Reminders: SMS reminders are now available with every paid HeySummit plan. Attendees can choose to receive a reminder before each of their selected talks on a given day, with support for UK, US and Canadian numbers.

In other news, HeySummit now enables you to add a privacy-aware map to an event page, allowing attendees to see where other members of the community are joining from. Anonymous mode is enabled by default and names only appear when attendees opt in.
