iubenda Introduces Automatic Cookie Blocking & Guided Setup

iubenda has just announced a new automatic cookie blocking feature for non-essential cookies and a new setup wizard for its all-in-one compliance solution.

iubenda’s plugins for WordPress, PrestaShop, Magento and Joomla now come with automatic cookie blocking for non-essential cookies. They block known scripts and tracking technologies until your visitors click the “Accept” button on your cookie banner.

Guided Setup

The new iubenda setup wizard simplifies the process of configuring your website. Simply start by scanning your site or selecting an existing one and click “Process with assisted configuration” once you have received the scan results.

First, you will be taken through a guided setup process to review the recommended configurations. Then you can explore the recommended plans with a breakdown of each suggestion, highlighting inclusions and potential gaps.

After selecting your preferred configuration, the enhanced header will show your progress. Click “Get me to 100%” to review the steps. Plus, use the handy checklist for a smooth completion.

Finally, once you’ve installed iubenda’s Google-certified CMP, either manually or with one of their CMS plugins, you’re ready for Google Consent Mode. iubenda takes care of this automatically on any platform, including WordPress, Shopify, Joomla and Webflow.
