Nifty: New Dependency Unlock Notifications & Fractional Story Points
The Nifty team has just released an update for its project management platform that gives you more control and actionability when it comes to forecasting, executing and tracking the progress of your workflow.
Dependency Unlock Notifications
Nifty now notifies you when milestones and tasks are unlocked, allowing you to seamlessly continue your workflow. If you are assigned to a task that has been unlocked from a task dependency, the notification will take you directly to the unlocked task.
When an entire milestone is unlocked by a milestone dependency, the notification takes you directly to the entire milestone so you can see all the unlocked tasks.
User Tags Filter in All Tasks
You can now filter All Tasks by custom user tags to further refine your reporting insights. User tags are great for delineating someone’s role or skill set within your organisation, such as Content Writer, Account Specialist, Front-End Engineer, and more. You can even track the open tasks of each of your user tag segments in All Tasks.
Fractional Story Points
A Story Point is a predictive measure that represents a day’s work on a Task, and will visually represent your Task as a single day’s work in Workloads. But sometimes a task may only take half a day or a few hours. Great news! You can now add decimals to Story Points, meaning that a .5 point Task will only take half a day to complete.

Finally, Nifty lets you specify the exact page you want to jump to when reading a PDF, so you don’t have to scroll page by page to get to where you want to go.
