Restrict Content Pro just announced an integration of their WordPress membership plugin with Kadence Blocks. This is a pretty obvious move considering that both Kadence WP and Restrict Content Pro have been acquired by iThemes and are now part of Liquid Web’s StellarWP family.
Kadence Blocks Integration
Thanks to the new Kadence Blocks integration, you can now easily restrict content in the WordPress block editor without having to use shortcodes like before. Kadence Blocks is one of the most robust and popular plugins that features a powerful library of WordPress blocks for easy page building. With Kadence Blocks, you get a new toolset of blocks that include everything from rows and columns to advanced galleries and even Lottie animations. They also just released a new Kadence Google Maps block that allows you to add Google Maps to your WordPress site with ease.
With Kadence Blocks, all blocks have visibility settings that allow you to hide blocks from specific user roles. Visibility settings now include Restrict Content Pro Membership Levels and Access Levels.
The Kadence Row Layout block is an easy way to group content. There you will also find the settings for restricting content by block. Consider this your basic container if you need any kind of special layout or content, as any WordPress block can be added within a Kadence Row Layout block.
In other news, Restrict Content Pro added an option for users to switch free memberships in version 3.5.14. In addition, they added a payment descriptor option for Stripe users.
Content Upgrades Redirect Block
Did you know that you can also easily add a paywall to access premium content with Restrict Content Pro’s Content Upgrades Redirect block? This block adds a CTA such as “Get Access Now” with custom URLs for the button and sign-up link below that converts website visitors into paying members.
Free Membership Theme
Kadence WP‘s new free membership starter template gives you a great starting point for building a membership site with Restrict Content Pro. The concept for this sample membership site is a members-only make-up course website with exclusive tutorials. It comes with pre-built pages and starter content.
