Meet The Shopify Partner Academy

Growing a web design or development company comes with quite a lot of challenges. It can be difficult to stay on top of the information you need to know to run your business. That’s why Shopify recently announced the launch of the new Shopify Partner Academy.

Shopify Partner Academy

Basically, it’s a collection of courses, study guides, and (technical) exams. They allow you to develop critical commerce skills, test your knowledge, and demonstrate your expertise as a Shopify Partner.

Courses

They’ve created eleven fundamental courses in the categories of Product and Business fundamentals including Design & Theming, Store Operations, and Shopify Plus as well as Marketing and Revenue & Pricing. These courses will help you understand the scope of the Shopify product and the foundations to a successful and sustainable business.

Each course takes about 30 minutes and comes with interactive content and a formal exam. Soon, they will add more advanced courses such as Theme Development and Designing for Conversion.

Technical Exams

After the Theme Development Certification, Shopify introduced the new App Development Certification exam in December 2018. Test your ability to build quality Shopify Apps and identify areas that you may need to work on. By passing the App Development Certification, you will demonstrate that you have the knowledge and skills to produce products at a level of quality both Shopify and online merchants expect.
