The latest version of the renowned WordPress framework is shipped with WP-CLI commands, improved navigation, and increased visibility into Genesis plugins. It’s a developer’s dream really. Genesis 2.10 provides users with easier access to the settings and features most important to them. Many of these updates were informed by a 2018 survey conducted across the Genesis community of developers and marketers.

Here’s a quick overview of what version 2.10 brings:

• Easy Plugin Access:
  Plugins will be visible within the Genesis rail menu on the WP Admin.
• One-Click Theme Setup:
  Now allows developers to specify which plugins and content should be installed and activated in their custom themes.
• New WP-CLI Commands:
  Developers can now use these to help automate tedious tasks and processes.
• Customizer Updates:
  Theme and SEO settings now feature in the customize window in the WP Admin.
