SureCart: New Customer Area & PayPal Subscriptions Now Available
Adam from SureCart has just finally announced the arrival of PayPal subscriptions for their ecommerce plugin for WordPress. In addition, they have released a new customer area in version 1.9.
New Customer Area
SureCart now has a beautiful, customizable customer area that can be used with any WordPress theme or page builder. Once the product pages are released, you will also be able to change the look and feel of the cards and reduce the number of clicks required.
Please note that using this new customer area is optional. You can still use the current experience and don’t need to switch to the new one.
PayPal Subscriptions
With SureCart, you can easily sell subscriptions and instalment plans using Stripe and Mollie. However, PayPal requires you to have reference transactions enabled on your account, which can be difficult to get if you are not based in the US or EU.
Good news: PayPal subscriptions are now finally available to everyone, as the SureCart platform has just been approved by PayPal for customer-initiated billing (CIB). As such, SureCart branding will appear in two places in the PayPal checkout flow. However, if you have reference transactions enabled in your own account, the branding will not be displayed.
