WooCommerce Lead Time Now Integrates With Delivery Slots

Iconic has just released an integration of their Delivery Slots plugin with Barn2’s WooCommerce Lead Time. This is just the perfect combination for those of you who want to offer delivery dates that are based on the lead times of the products in the shopping cart.

WooCommerce Lead Time + Delivery Slots

Here is a short use case to show you how it can work:

  1. A customer adds 2 products to their cart. One has a lead time of ‘7 days’ and the other has a lead time of ’14 days’. These are displayed on the product page in the usual way so that the customer knows what to expect.
  2. At checkout, the customer can select a delivery date and/or time for their order. The first available date is in 14 days, which is the longest lead time for the products in the cart.

By the way, big stores such as Etsy, Made.com, and Amazon (for personalized products) are displaying lead times. When are you implementing this feature?
