WPML: New Machine Translation Quotas For Advanced Translation Editor
Earlier this year, WPML announced their new Advanced Translation Editor that allows you to speed up your translation work and make it more accurate. Now, they introduced quotas for its machine translation feature.

Relying on paid translation engines, WPML has started charging for heavy usage of machine translation as they cannot absorb this cost anymore.
New sites will now receive a free quota of 2,000 words. That’s good for about five pages of content. If you exceed the free quota, you can buy additional packs of quota at an affordable price:
- Personal: $0.99 – 1500 words ($0.667 / 1000 words)
- Business: $9.99 – 20000 words ($0.5 / 1000 words)
- Publisher: $49.99 – 150000 words ($0.333 / 1000 words)
