WPML: Announcing End User Accounts for WordPress Multilingual Plugin
In anticipation of the upcoming WPML 3.8 release, the team behind the multilingual WordPress plugin revealed some good news for developers.
End User Accounts
As of WPML 3.8, your clients will get their own accounts at WPML.org, so-called “end-user accounts”. This will lead to the following benefits:
- Less issues: Clients will receive accurate and personalized instructions for translating and operating multilingual sites
- Direct support: Your clients get support from WPML staff who are trained to work with non-developers
Your clients will find a button that will send them to personalized translation instructions for their active themes and plugins.
Thus, the overall support load for both WPML and developers will hopefully be decreased.
