AudioPen Adds Flashes & PermaPosts for Blogs

Louis from AudioPen has recently added an option to his AI speech-to-text app that allows you to publish your voice notes and create lightweight blogs. Now he has added Flashes, PermaPosts and auto-generated thumbnail images.

AudioPen now allows you to share a post for a limited time, for those thoughts that haven’t been polished yet, but you want to share anyway. When you publish a post on AudioPen, you’ll be given the option to publish it as a Flash (visible for 7 days, at the top of your profile) or as a PermaPost (visible indefinitely, below the Flashes). Similar to Stories vs. Posts on Instagram.

Auto-Generated Thumbnails

Each published post now has an automatically generated thumbnail based on the title and author name. Its colour scheme is based on the colours you’ve chosen for your AudioPen blog. By clicking the new button at the bottom of a post, you can now easily share it along with the thumbnail. Thumbnails can also be generated for your profile page.

What’s More?

Finally, you don’t have to wait for a recording to finish before starting a new one in AudioPen. Just click the Record button and start a new note. When the previous voice note is finished, it will appear in your note library.
