EU VAT For EDD Now With UK VAT Number Validation
Barn2 just released version 1.4 of EU VAT for Easy Digital Downloads. They have added a couple of new features in order to fully support UK VAT.
UK VAT Number Validation
The United Kingdom has recently made some improvements to their VAT database which allows the Barn2 team to integrate with it. The integration has now been added to the plugin, so that UK customers are now able to enter their VAT number on the EDD checkout and have the VAT reverse charged.
New: Add UK VAT Number
Previously, the plugin had a field where you could enter the EU VAT number of your store and display it on invoices. They have just added an additional field where you can also add your UK VAT number. The plugin displays both VAT numbers on invoices.
