Murtaza from Heartbeat has just announced a new duplicate events feature, the much anticipated Stripe VAT integration, webhooks and major course updates for their SaaS community platform.
You can now duplicate events easily. Simply open an event, click the pencil icon to the left of the title and click ‘Duplicate’. All your previous content for the event will be copied over.
They are also in the process of adding more duplicate buttons to the community platform, including documents, document sections and online courses.
After keeping the Stripe tax integration in beta for about three months without running into any major issues, Heartbeat are now officially releasing it to all customers. Just go to Settings > Monetization to set it up!
Major Course Updates
The Heartbeat team has also pushed a ton of updates to Courses, including a beautiful card view, an improved course creation flow, and an option to easily duplicate online courses. In addition, all admins can now see all courses.
Webhooks & More
Webhooks allow you to have Heartbeat’s servers send information to your custom application. For example, when new users join, threads are created, groups are joined, and more. Of course, this feature also works with no-code automation platforms such as Make, Integrately, Pabbly Connect, Zapier and others.
Speaking of which, they have also added Abandoned Invite Link, New Event RSVP and Create Comment Zapier endpoints. Additionally, you can now rearrange your courses via drag and drop.
Finally, they are currently working on a PeerBoard migration wizard! The community platform has recently been acquired by Docebo and shut down.
