Metorik’s new easy to set up advertising costs feature is finally live! It’s part of their new costs and profit system (COGS) which they have released in November 2020.

Using it, you can automatically sync advertising costs from Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and a CSV file.

Once configured in the ad cost settings, you will see the ad costs as part of their cost/profit report and have access to a new report that shows ad advertising costs by date.

Better Metorik Engage Reports

They continue to focus on Metorik Engage and have added some much needed improvements to their email automation tool.

All Engage pages and reports can now be filtered via the top right report dates. This covers all reports, including the overall stats report, automations list page, single automation page, and sent emails page.

Further improvements include:

  • Added a chart of emails sent to the overall Engage report
  • Tracking settings to enable/disable open and click tracking on emails sent via Engage
  • Preview automation and abandoned cart emails
  • Dashboard and report UI improvements on mobile
  • New warning email when your Engage spam complaint rate is getting too high

Improved Dashboard Segments

This comes in quite handy if you have custom segments on your Metorik dashboard or in your Metorik digests!

Now when you add a segment list or a segment total card to a custom dashboard or digest, you can select a date field. They will then filter the segment by that date field using the data in the top right.

In other news, they added a new filter for segmenting customers: ‘first paid order date’ (first $0+ successful order). You can also include a customer’s ‘first paid order date’ in customer exports.
