These days Metorik turned 5 years old. To celebrate this milestone, the ecommerce co-pilot for WooCommerce and Shopify released two exciting new updates. This includes automatic UTM tracking and email layouts for Engage.
Automatic UTM Tracking
Engage is Metorik’s email automation (and soon broadcast) tool which now comes with flexible, automatic UTM tracking. Simply turn on the new setting, and they will automatically add UTM parameters to all your email links, helping you track the data that matters to you.
While you can set up UTM tracking for your entire online store at once, you can also override these settings for each individual email sent.
Engage Layouts are a new feature that allows you to write custom HTML emails much easier. Now, instead of creating and editing each and every Engage email in custom HTML, you can create an email layout once and use it across many emails. Once you have created and used a layout, you simply have to write your email in the easy-to-use message editor and they paste it into your layout.
This feature will also allow the Metorik team to create new layouts for you. There are currently a few in the works that will give your emails a more personal touch. Stay tuned!
In other news, Metorik also added support for WooCommerce Brands and the Perfect Brands for WooCommerce plugin. This gives you access to a bunch of new brand reports which will provide a good overview of the performance of your different brands. If the COGS plugin is activated as well, you can also see the profit and margins data for each brand.
