Welcome to the 153rd issue of The Pier. Novamira Pro 1.1.0 provides support for the most popular WordPress custom fields plugins. AI agents now have specific capabilities for ACF, JetEngine, Meta Box, Pods, ACPT and ASE Pro, including field groups, custom post types, taxonomies, options pages, relationships and field values relating to posts, users, terms and options pages. This reduces both token usage and the amount of back-and-forth required when they had to figure it all out through generic PHP and database calls.
Launch: Nick Arce has just released Etch Drawer, a complete Etch-ready drawer system built around ACSS. It is swipeable, stackable and four-directional, and uses Vanilla JS.
Launch II:ActiveLayer offers AI-powered spam protection for forms and comments. It integrates with eight different WordPress form plugins, as well as Node.js, Laravel, PHP, Python and more. For WordPress, however, our favourite remains WP Armour.
Launch III: As mentioned last week, Unblock is now in beta (including a LTD).
Open Source: Marko from DPlugins has just introduced FrontPress Studio, a fast, file-based CMS. It features Markdown on disk, a React admin interface and Twig templates.
Exciting: DeepL has added speech-to-text support to its API! Unlock live transcriptions in all supported languages. Stream audio and receive instant transcripts that can be plugged directly into translation pipelines or downstream processing.
Milestone:Sendr is an all-in-one platform for managing outbound communications across multiple channels. Version 3.0 introduces the multi-channel sequencer, enabling you to send emails, LinkedIn messages and WhatsApp messages through one conditional flow. Instagram DMs and X will be added soon. SendrAI is built into the sequencer to provide enrichment, lead scoring and branching logic. Also new are dynamic personalized videos that can be sent natively inside LinkedIn DMs.

LatePoint 5.5.2 adds support for custom .ics calendar attachment file names in workflow email notifications. This allows you to use smart variables such as ‘service_name’ and ‘booking_id’ to create more personalized calendar invitations. Version 5.6.0 introduces integration with the RazorPay payment gateway.
The Directorist Listing Importer is a new extension that helps you import business listings from two sources: Google Maps via the Google Places API and standard RSS or Atom feeds (video).
Gato GraphQL 18.0 uses considerably less memory and allows you to cache parsed GraphQL queries on disk, so you can avoid repeated parsing and compilation. It also tightens the default capability checks for the Email Sender, HTTP Client and Environment Variable fields. Additionally, it adds a new Gemini translation provider
Noted, a free, lightweight note-taking plugin for WordPress, adds page and block-level notes in version 2.0.

AB Split Test 2.5.2 now allows you to track HubSpot form submissions as conversion goals.
TryAura is a virtual try-on plugin for WooCommerce stores. Swipe Pages adds 250+ conversion blocks to its AI page builder. Each block is designed around a specific psychological principle, such as urgency, objection handling, trust, proof, pricing, lead capture and more.
Customer Support
Fluent Support 2.2.0 introduces a real-time notification system for agents, FluentBooking meeting scheduling from tickets and public ticket numbers with prefix support. It also includes a native integration with the FluentCommunity portal.
ThriveDesk now lets you use your own key (BYOK) to use its AI features, such as AI Assist, summarization and auto-replies.
CMP
Trustwards 2.3 introduces a new collapsible banner, support for the WP Consent API, a cookies table shortcode, and much more besides.
WPConsent 1.1.6 now makes your cookie policy page look as though it was designed to be part of your website. Simply insert the shortcode to enjoy clean tables, proper headers and an attractive layout straight away, with no CSS required.
The Biscotti consent banner now meets WCAG 2.2 requirements by default. European Accessibility Act (EAA) and US Section 508 compliance are both sorted.
Web & Product Analytics
Usermaven redesigns Trends, introducing inline editing and live previews to create a much smoother workflow. You can now build, customize and explore trends more quickly, without having to jump between multiple screens. Channel and source filtering across attribution reports has also been enhanced.
LMS / E-Learning
Klasio introduces product bundles. Simply pick any combination of online courses, digital downloads and webinars. Then set a bundled price and sell them as a package.
Unified Inbox
With Kibo (by Publer), you can now connect your Facebook Pages and reply to new messages directly.
Communities
Heartbeat announces the upcoming launch of Custom Landing Pages. Describe your brand to Pulse, or find a design you like and use it as your starting point. Pulse will then build a fully customized landing page for you in minutes, including a hero image, testimonials and pricing sections. You can then edit everything directly on the page with pixel-perfect customization.
With Kitchen.co, you can now create public links for files and folders and share them with clients — without requiring a login (video).
FluentBoards 1.95 introduces a new Gantt chart view, as well as MCP support for AI agents and task dependencies.
Automation
Pabbly Connect makes Human in the Loop smarter. You can now build custom approval flows with dynamic payloads, multi-choice decisions and approval requests across Slack, WhatsApp, email, SMS, webhooks and more.
Social Media
The Publer/Linkie.bio integration is coming in June! This means that your social posts will be added to your Linkie profile automatically every time you publish via Publer.
With Giststack, you can now invite your team members to your account (video). Included in Pro plans and above.
The Missinglettr API is now in beta and will be free to use until the end of May. You can use it to schedule and send posts to up to 12 different social profiles directly from your own tools and workflows. Alternatively, connect its MCP to ChatGPT or Claude and let them do the work for you.
