Welcome to the 172nd issue of The Pier. SureCart 4.9.0 adds the ability to purchase shipping labels in bulk via its Shippo integration. There are also first-party integrations with WP Rocket, Perfmatters and SiteGround Optimizer, and the ecommerce plugin registers the necessary cache and delay-JS exclusions.

Ghost Mode: Novamira Pro 1.11.0 has introduced a new Ghost Mode. If you manage WordPress sites for clients, you can now use Novamira without it being visible to the client’s administrators. Only the admins you select will see it, and you can continue to work with your AI as usual. Watch the walkthrough.

WordPress: Automattic has launched Spacefast, a new publishing layer for your AI agents. It ships static sites and supported full-stack apps.

Milestones: ElevenLabs has introduced Eleven v4, which features expressive voice control, long-form consistency, improved audio tagging and multilingual speech. In other news, Sendr V4 has added a new Campaign Copilot, Analytics, Personas and Campaign Strategy to its GTM and personalized outreach platform.

Ad Management: Uplads has launched its new MCP server for managing Meta and TikTok ads in bulk. AI sssistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Antigravity can import creatives, write copy and build campaigns.

Multilingual: LocalizePilot is a new, multilingual, AI-powered translation plugin for WordPress, set to rival TranslatePress, WPML, Weglot and WPGlotty (first mentioned in The Pier #169).

Exciting: With the release of Unblock 1.0.0 RC2, the AI assistant is out of beta. This update improves its reliability: edits are applied to the correct block, existing classes are reused instead of being guessed at, and MCP sessions no longer drop when the editor tab is in the background.

If you are still receiving client feedback as screenshots, long emails and ‘the blue bit near the top’, Reviso could be a good solution for you. Clients simply open a link and click on the relevant page to leave a comment. There’s no need to create an account or install anything. Every comment shows up as a pin in your builder, allowing you to address the issue directly.

WordPress

With the release of Next Etch 1.1, the Animator now allows you to import and export items, as well as duplicate and reorder them by dragging. There are also 14 new components, including: Gradient Slider, Global Search, World Map, Globe, Stairs Menu, Pixel Trail, and Image Gallery.

The Elementor MCP allows you to connect your Elementor sites to Claude, Codex, Cursor and more, enabling you to build atomic pages and layouts, edit elements and work with your design system.

With WP Umbrella MCP, you can connect to your account with one click and work with live data on every site you manage, using Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code. However, your assistant is given scoped access, asks before making any changes, and every action is logged. You can ask it which sites have vulnerable plugins, update them and check the backups, all from a chat, without giving it access to the site itself.

Popup Maker Pro now includes split testing. You can compare headlines, offers, settings and complete pop-ups against a no-pop-up control group to see which actually leads to the best conversion. Sticky assignments ensure that visitors remain in the same variant, and the results show which experience is most likely to perform best.

Kirki adds a colour contrast checker for accessibility. You can now also select multiple elements and animate them all at once by applying an interaction from the interaction library.

FastPixel introduces Global Cache, which is currently in beta. It stores your website’s pages on servers that are located all around the world. This means that visitors load your site from a nearby server , ⁣making your website feel faster for everyone, everywhere.

With Custom Global Colours, you can add up to nine custom colours to the global colour palette in Astra.

Activity Log Pro 1.2.1 introduces a new email logging feature.

DPlugins releases Hoster 1.4.0, which introduces protected downloads, licence-bound updates, and a faster release flow.

WordPress Analytics

With Conversion Bridge 1.16.2, Paid Memberships Pro can track level views, level selections and registrations. It also adds support for Borlabs Cookie consent for OpenAI Ads.

E-Commerce & A/B Testing

WP SmartPay Pro 3.4.3 introduces instant alerts for rejected Stripe payments. If Stripe rejects a payment, you will now see an immediate warning notice in your WordPress admin dashboard. The exact reason is also recorded in your activity log.

With version 4.9.1, you can now connect SureCart to ChatGPT with a custom GPT and manage your store by chatting with it.

The new FluentCart extension is now available for Gato GraphQL.

Form Builder

Address Autocomplete 2.0 adds Google’s address suggestions to the forms on your WordPress site. When someone starts typing their street address, they can select the correct suggestion, after which the city, state, postcode and country are automatically filled in.

The Gravity Forms FreshBooks add-on connects your WordPress forms to FreshBooks, automatically creating clients, invoices, estimates, expenses, recurring invoices, projects and time entries.

Fluent Forms 6.2.15 integrates Apple Pay and Google Pay with your Stripe payment forms.

CRM

With FluentCRM 3.2.5, you can see revenue right in your campaign list. Now, each campaign shows the revenue it brought in directly in the list. There’s no need to open every report to find out which emails actually sold. If you sell courses with LearnDash, LifterLMS, LearnPress or Tutor LMS, you can now target people based on the lessons they have completed. For instance, you could send a reminder to everyone who stopped at lesson 3. Finally, you can also create companies from Fluent Forms.

CMP

With the release of SureCookie 1.6.0, PixelYourSite now respects visitor consent. Its pixels, cookies and tracking events are stored until the visitor accepts the relevant category. Google Consent Mode and Global Privacy Control are also supported.

Appointment Bookings

Dark mode is now available on both WPTimetics and Booktics.

Events

EventKoi 1.4.6.0 adds ready-made Elementor templates for event, series and calendar pages. There is also a new onboarding step and settings to switch between them.

Pie Calendar Pro 1.5.0 introduces Advanced Recurrence Rules.

Food Blogs

Recipe Card Blocks Pro 7.4.0 introduces significant enhancements to the Unit Conversion feature, including a new “Convert with AI” button located next to “Convert All Ingredients”. This converts the entire ingredient list in one go, using the name of each ingredient to select grams or milliliters and a realistic weight.

Laravel

Health for Laravel, developed by Sylvester Damgaard, provides separate liveness, readiness and startup endpoints, each with its own set of checks. It comes with ten checks out of the box, a /health/metrics endpoint that Prometheus can scrape, and it reads cgroup limits so that memory numbers come from the container rather than the host.

Web Development

JetBrains Air is a free plugin that is now in public preview. It allows you to run Claude Agent, Codex, Junie, Copilot and OpenCode inside PhpStorm, with the option of having several sessions at once and using your existing subscriptions.

Voice Notes

AudioPen introduces a new hands-free mode for Mac and Windows, smart end punctuation, and full localization in four new languages: Spanish, German, French, and Portuguese.

Project Management

Nifty introduces a new Capacity Planner that allows you to plan workloads based on your team’s actual working hours and availability. In other news, the Calendar has been updated to become a resource planner. The day view can now be organized by team member or project, making it much easier to compare schedules and distribute workloads evenly.

Customer Support

Gleap now supports Claude Sonnet 5.5, which can be used with Kai, AI agents and Kai Code sessions in Gleap Cloud.

Finally, the quality of the AI Review Assistant, which creates review drafts from customer answers on collection forms, and AI responses has improved.
