Email Capture On Videos
The brand-new Email Capture feature allows you to easily capture email addresses from your site visitors to allow watching of videos on your WordPress site. You can specify when the form should be displayed (percentage watched). There is even an option to allow skipping and to customize the heading, the bottom text and the play button text. As the icing on the cake, it integrates perfectly with FluentCRM, Mailchimp and MailerLite as well as ActiveCampaign.
However, there is one thing missing which will hopefully be implemented soon. To be GDPR compliant, they need to add a consent checkbox option.
They also introduced a YouTube Privacy Enhanced Mode to embed YouTube videos without using any cookies that track viewing behaviour. With web encapsulation the video player is now no longer influenced by your theme styles. Finally, as the video player now loads dynamically on the page, it works seamlessly with pop-up plug-ins and lazy or AJAX loading content.
Bunny Stream Integration
They have also been working on a Bunny Stream integration powered by Bunny.Net, which was released at the end of April. This adds automatic transcoding, multiple resolutions, and HLS streaming from the content delivery network. It also comes with folder organization to easily group your video files.
