Usermaven: Google Search Console Integration in Early Access
It’s only been a week since Usermaven introduced visitor journeys, and they’re already rolling out another big update. The privacy-friendly, cookieless web and product analytics platform has just announced a Google Search Console integration in early access and much more.
Web Analytics
Top Sources Overview
Usermaven has added a new overview option to Top Sources in web analytics. This allows you to quickly identify which channels generate the most traffic for your website.
Device Type Overview
They have also added an option to show the types of devices your website visitors are using, such as laptop, mobile and desktop.
Default Domain
If you track multiple websites, it can be useful to set the default domain in Usermaven’s web analytics dashboard at Workspace Settings > General. This way you can quickly access the analytics for a specific website without having to manually select the domain each time.
Online Visitors
The “Visitors Online” button gives you real-time data on your visitors’ activities and allows you to track and understand their behaviour on your website.
Google Search Console Integration
Usermaven has just launched a Google Search Console integration which is in private beta. It provides a more comprehensive overview of your website’s performance. At this time, access is limited to a select group of users, but it will be rolled out to more users in the future.
Support Access
They have also added an option to grant the Usermaven team access to your account and data for support purposes. Once your issue is resolved, you can simply revoke this access. Otherwise, it will automatically expire in 14 days.
Rest assured that Usermaven values the privacy of your data! How do we know this? Well, we also use the analytics platform here on Ahoi.dev and the protection of our data is very important to us.
Product Insights
Overhauled People & Companies View
In addition, the Usermaven team has updated the people and company view. You will now be able to customise the table view by changing the size and order of the columns to your liking. These settings will be saved for future use.
The user journeys page now displays the user activity based on sessions and gives you a more detailed and comprehensive overview of how users interact with your website.
People & Company Export
You can now export people and companies from the contacts section and then import them into your marketing tools.
Dropped Off Users Export
You can now export a list of dropped off users from the onboarding funnel, i.e. users who dropped out at the first step of the funnel and users who dropped out at the last step.
Whatโs Next?
Usermaven’s developers are now working on weekly/monthly web analytics reports that will be delivered directly to your inbox. They will also support multiple recipients. You will also be able to analyse user flows to see which paths are taken by converted or dropped-off users.
Also, the conversion goals feature will be updated to give you more options for setting target values. Finally, a WordPress plugin will be released to automatically install tracking code on your websites.
