AB Split Test Introduces Custom Audiences for Better Referrer Insights
Tom from AB Split Test has just introduced custom audiences to the WordPress split testing and conversion optimization plugin, providing better referrer insights.
New: Custom Audiences
Have you ever wondered whether Google and Meta visitors behave differently, or how specific customer groups respond to the same test? Now you can find out with the new filterable custom audiences feature in AB Split Test!
Let’s take a look at what’s new on AB Split Test 2.6.5:
You can create reusable visitor groups based on traffic source, browser, device, language, cookies, and more. Then attach them to any test and compare how each audience performs, all without running separate experiments.
Even if an A/B test has a clear overall winner, it may still hide something important. For example, a new headline might perform well overall, but badly for ChatGPT traffic. Alternatively, a variation on the pricing page might perform well overall but poorly for YouTube visitors. Custom Audiences reveal this information.
AB Split Test also provides presets for common sources, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Poe and You.com.
