Fluent Support: New MCP Server, Multi-Provider AI & Commerce Workflow Conditions
Jewel from Fluent Support has added MCP for support tickets, multi-provider chat support and commerce workflow conditions to the WordPress customer support plugin.
New Features

Let’s take a look at what’s new in Fluent Support 2.3.0:
- MCP Server: The new MCP server allows AI agents such as Claude, Cursor and Codex to connect directly to your support data and work directly within your helpdesk. For example, you could ask, “Summarize ticket #3521 for me, find out what this customer has purchased, and draft a friendly reply.” There’s no need to copy and paste ticket threads into a chat window anymore.
- Multi-Provider AI: Select OpenAI, Google Gemini or Anthropic as your AI backend (BYOK).
- Commerce Workflow Conditions (Pro): Route tickets and enforce SLAs based on the customer’s actual purchases for FluentCart and Easy Digital Downloads (EDD). Commerce condition fields now feature a live search picker for products and variations.
- CLI Migration: Moving from Zendesk or Help Scout? Two new WP-CLI commands will import your full ticket history, including customers, conversations, and attachments, and can be resumed if interrupted.
In other news, the Previous Conversations widget in the Fluent Support ticket sidebar now has a ‘Load more’ pagination feature. Agents handling customers with long ticket histories will no longer encounter a hard cut-off.
