EmbedMyReviews: New Video Testimonials & Wall of Love Widget

Mannie from EmbedMyReviews has announced the release of two long-awaited features for the online reputation management platform. Say hello to video testimonials and the new Wall of Love widget!

New: Video Testimonials

Your customers can now leave video testimonials rather than just text ones. This feature works right inside the feedback form, so there is nothing extra to set up beyond turning it on.

• Record or Upload: Customers can either record directly from their phone or computer camera or upload an existing video.
• Built for Mobile: The recording experience is designed for mobile phones first. It uses the native camera on iOS and Android devices to provide a smooth, familiar experience.
• Automatic processing: Once a video is submitted, EmbedMyReviews handles all the technical processes in the background, such as converting the video, generating a thumbnail and preparing it for display.
• Stay in Control: Every video lands in your ‘Reviews’ area as ‘pending’, so you can watch it first, then approve or reject it before it goes public. Only approved videos ever show.
• Watch & Download: From the Reviews page and your dashboards, you can play any video testimonial online and download the original file — handy for ads, social posts or your website!

As video testimonials are a part of the testimonials feature, the option to collect videos automatically becomes available on the feedback form.

New: Wall of Love Widget

In addition, EmbedMyReviews has introduced a brand new, responsive ‘Wall of Love’ widget. Designed to showcase both text and video testimonials, aka video reviews, it presents them in one scrolling wall of social proof. It’s great for a homepage or landing page.

Currently, video testimonials only display in the Wall of Love widget. However, they plan to incorporate video into more widgets over time.
