Greyd.Suite Releases New Frontend Post Forms & Dynamic Forms

The Greyd.Suite team has announced two major new features for Greyd.Forms: Frontend Post Forms and Dynamic Forms. These features take the form generator to a whole new level by making forms even more dynamic and enabling non-technical users to edit websites from the frontend.

Accept & Load

Frontend post forms connect your forms to posts, including custom post types. Anyone using the frontend can add new posts via the form without accessing the backend, and each new post is displayed automatically in the correct layout and design. No design or technical knowledge is required.

This is useful if you are an agency providing clients with the ability to add their own content, or a business looking to involve employees, partners or other third parties in the process. In either case, you benefit from a secure interface that preserves designs and ensures content remains on brand. You have full control over whether new posts are published immediately or saved as a draft first. The same forms can also be used to update existing posts, making editing content as easy as creating it.

Greyd.Forms can now function in the same way as a Greyd.Suite Dynamic Template, enabling you to specify precisely which fields should be populated dynamically and updated automatically based on your post content. For example, you could use it for a job application form that always lists only open positions, or a global sign-up form used across dozens of local gym sites that shows you which location a sign-up came from.

You can choose to make those dynamic fields visible in the frontend as options that update automatically when posts are changed, added or deleted, or keep them hidden in the backend to enrich your form entries.
