Newsletter Glue Releases v3 Blocks
Lesley from Newsletter Glue has just announced the release of version 2.3 of their WordPress newsletter plugin for editorial teams, introducing brand new v3 Gutenberg blocks to ease the transition to the upcoming version 3.0.
Newsletter Blocks v3
Back in April 2023, Newsletter Glue started working on their own set of custom newsletter blocks for a better WYSIWYG. Now they are finally ready to launch version 3.0 of their email builder for WordPress.
All their existing blocks have been rebuilt from scratch. In addition, they have introduced a whole new set of basic blocks such as text, headings and images.
Check out the feature highlights of Newsletter Glue v3:
- Mobile Controls:
All blocks now include mobile controls, allowing you to change font size or spacing on mobile without any code. - WYSIWYG:
With version 3, what you see in your email editor is what your readers see in their inbox. Theme clashes that cause unexpected spacing, fonts or colours are finally a thing of the past. - More Design Options:
Each individual Gutenberg block has new design options, such as the ability to adjust the line height for text or to display post embeds in two columns. - Cleaner Code:
Newsletter Glueโs custom email-first Gutenberg blocks ensure clean code that wonโt break in Outlook or Gmail.
Existing users of Newsletter Glue should replace the blocks immediately. This includes core Gutenberg blocks such as Headings, Paragraphs and Images, as well as Newsletter Glue blocks such as Author Byline, Post Embeds,ย Latest Posts, Container and more.
Newsletter Glueย v3 will be released in about three months. Once released, v2 blocks and core Gutenberg blocks will no longer work in your templates and newsletters.
