Welcome to the 37th issue of The Pier. This week the Elementor team announced Elementor Copilot, your new AI design companion in Early Access. Think of it as your smart personal assistant for building WordPress sites, offering layout suggestions that combine your personal expertise with industry best practices. It’s constantly learning from your experience and feedback to give you even better recommendations.

🤙 New WP All Import Add-ons

Joe and Louis from WP All Import have just announced the long-awaited release of new import and export add-ons for Meta Box and JetEngine, currently in beta. They are included in the Import + Export Pro package which costs $399 for a lifetime license. They will soon be switching to an annual pricing model.

For a limited time, existing customers can upgrade to this package by simply paying the difference between what they’ve already paid and the retail price.

🗞️ Bites & Pieces

WordPress

  • Blocksy 2.0.26 now integrates with the WooCommerce Min/Max Quantity and Simply Static plugins. To improve performance, the amount of data stored and loaded by the Customizer has also been reduced.
  • FlowMattic 4.1.3 adds custom redirects for webhooks.
  • Voxel 1.4 will be released on the 15th of March along with the new StripeKit add-on (in beta). It’s a sandbox of e-commerce features that allows you to sell and manage products natively with Voxel.
  • LearnDash introduces Blended Learning to those who teach an online-based curriculum but have a requirement (either by government or for regulatory reasons) for an in-person exam or classroom-based learning.
  • With Email Reports for SureCart, Nelson from SurelyWP announces their 6th add-on for the e-commerce platform.
  • SEOPress 7.5 introduces a REST API with context, a new custom table for the content analysis feature and an updated Course schema. In addition, the VAT ID (introduced in version 7.4) and telephone fields have been added to the installation wizard.
  • Gravity Wiz releases new free Code Chest plugin for Gravity Forms, allowing you to add and execute JavaScript and CSS code for specific forms.
  • CosmicGiant releases new One-Time Password plugin for Gravity Forms to combat spam.
  • MaxiBlocks now comes with more than 2,000 patterns and will soon add list style options.
  • GenerateBlocks Pro 1.7.0 alpha introduces new Global Styles system.
  • Startise is the new umbrella brand for WPDeveloper, Templately, Storeware, xCloud and Easy.jobs.
  • Fluent Forms 5.1.10 adds support for Cloudflare Turnstile to conversational forms and adds range slider support to quantity fields.
  • MotoPress announces that the prices for the Hotel Booking Plugin and Hotel Themes will be significantly increased in March.

Video Conferencing

  • Sessions introduces two-way sync with iCloud Calendar, automatically displaying booked sessions, planned meetings or webinars in your chosen calendar. They also improved the virtual background feature.

Ad Management

  • Yassir from Scalify gives us an update on the development of the new version. It will allow you to manage Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Google ads. You also get access to an extensive library of professionally designed, premium ad creatives, including images and videos – free of charge. No ETA yet.

AI Voices

Link Management & Automation

  • Replug now supports link analytics on password protected links.
  • SureTriggers releases a new integration with Replug, as well as new integrations with Ontraport, ZeroBounce, Wisepops and EmailOctopus.

Server Management

  • xCloud releases a new File Manager that lets you access and manage all your WordPress files directly from your xCloud dashboard, and the 7G Firewall.

M&A

  • Beamer, a customer communication platform, merges with Userflow, a user onboarding platform for SaaS companies.

Email Builder

  • Tabular announces three new pricing plans, including a lifetime plan. Existing subscriptions will remain unchanged.
