Shopify’s New Partnership with Amazon
About a week ago, Shopify have teamed up with Amazon bringing Amazon services to their merchants. Owners of an Amazon Webstore can now seamlessly migrate their online stores to Shopify in just a few steps and without any downtime at all – including customer and product data!
Also they have proudly announced three new Amazon integrations. They will help Shopify merchants with selling and shipping by using Amazon services:
- Login and Pay with Amazon
- Fulfillment by Amazon
- Selling on Amazon (Coming soon)

Launch of Shopify Shipping
This week, Shopify have launched Shopify Shipping which allow US-based customers to purchase and print USPS shipping labels directly via Shopify. That way, you’ll not only save time but also money as you’ll enjoy discounted shipping rates! In above example package of 5lb from New York City to Chicago you would save up to 40% depending on your plan for instance.
Shipping labels can both be purchased and printed from the order fulfillment screen. The costs are then settled via your Shopify bill. Packages can either be dropped off at any USPS location or you can schedule a free home pick up. No long lineups at the post office anymore!
They are planning to offer shipping labels in other countries as well as other delivery services in the future.
