According to TechCrunch, Shopify is going to offer their hardware and point-of-sale (POS) app for retail merchants in the UK soon.
Thus you will be able to accept card payments including contactless payments. The Shopify card reader is supporting tap, chip and swipe payments as well as Android Pay and Apple Pay thanks to the built-in NFC technology.
The free iOS app can be downloaded for free via iTunes and works just fine on iPhones and iPads.
