BigCommerce just introduced an exciting new feature called multi-storefront which allows merchants to create and manage multiple unique storefronts within a single, centralized system, hence the name.
For multi-store fronts, you can either use BigCommerce’s native Stencil framework or a third-party headless solution like Next.js or Contentful, or even WordPress.
That way, online merchants can streamline operations, simplify management, save on implementation and maintenance costs, while providing tailored shopping experiences to meet the needs of their diverse customers.
The multi-storefront is designed to meet the needs of merchants who:
- Manage multiple brands,
- Sell to multiple customer segments such ad B2B and B2C and need a separate website for each segment, and/or
- Sell to multiple regions and need a separate site for each region.
Multi-Storefront also helps you make data-driven decisions for your business with a unified data source. You can view analytics from each storefront and create reports in a single dashboard.
To put it in a nutshell: It’s all about increasing efficiency and avoiding duplication – an innovative way to scale and grow smarter.
New Bolt Integration
BigCommerce now also integrates with Bolt’s frictionless one-click checkout. This allows US merchants to create hassle-free shopping experiences for your customers, reduce cart abandonment and increase conversion rates.
PS: In the “Forrester Wave™: B2C & B2B Commerce Solutions, Q2 2022” reports, BigCommerce was named a “Strong Performer” among B2B and B2C e-commerce platforms. The e-commerce platform received the highest possible score in the following six criteria: Promotions Management, Third-Party Channels, Architecture, Extensibility and Integration as well as Performance and Commercial Model.
